Works
Seven long-form projects. Each began as a novel; the illustrated audiobooks, the films and the research all grew out of that text. The novels are written in Chinese, and the six finished ones can be read in English in full; the newest, Against the Current, goes up act by act in all three languages. The films are watchable in any language.
Against the Current
On a cold, rainy night, Xu Jiayi, working late with a fever, hails a car that should not exist — and just as she steps into it, a delivery rider riding the wrong way crashes into her. Six acts of urban fantasy, in progress.
